Description

2018 Volkswagen Tiguan Comfortline 2.0 TDI 115HP

This 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan Comfortline is a practical, comfortable and economical family SUV, powered by Volkswagen’s proven 2.0 TDI diesel engine and paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox.

For anyone searching for a Volkswagen Tiguan for sale in Ireland, a diesel family SUV or a practical second-hand SUV with plenty of space, this generation of Tiguan remains an excellent all-round choice.

The 2.0 TDI produces 115 hp and is particularly well suited to everyday driving, commuting and longer motorway journeys. Combined with the straightforward 6-speed manual transmission, it offers the kind of simple, familiar drivetrain that many used-car buyers still actively prefer.

The Tiguan’s real strength is its versatility. It offers a raised driving position, excellent visibility, generous passenger accommodation and a highly practical luggage area, while the sliding rear-seat arrangement allows owners to prioritise either rear legroom or boot space depending on what is needed.

The second-generation Tiguan also brought a noticeably more modern and refined cabin than its predecessor, with good-quality materials, intuitive controls and the solid, well-engineered feel Volkswagen buyers expect.

Comfortline specification adds a more upmarket level of interior trim and equipment while retaining the sensible running costs and usability that make the Tiguan such a popular family SUV.
